Brent’s Breakfast Crumble

Ingredients

Filling:

1kg green apples

½ lemon juice

⅓ cup brown sugar 

Sprinkle of cinnamon

 

Crumble:

1 cup rolled oats

1 cup plain flour

½ cup brown sugar 

½ tsp baking powder

½ tsp cinnamon ground

½ tsp nutmeg

½ cup unsalted butter melted

1 cup coconut flakes

⅓ cup dried pineapple roughly chopped

⅓ cup dates roughly chopped

¼ cup black chia seeds

⅓ cup cacao nibs

⅓ cup macadamia nuts roughly chopped

¼ cup slithered almonds

2 tbsp coconut oil

 

Toppings:

Cocobella Yoghurt – natural or Vanilla

Maple syrup

Coconut flakes

Fresh blueberries and apple 

 

 

Method

Method:

Preheat oven to 180 degrees

Prep apples by peeling and cutting the into cubes, place into a bowl

Pour sugar, cinnamon and lemon juice over the top and toss apples through

Place into a baking dish

Make the crumble by mixing all the ingredients together and placing over the top of the apples in the baking dish

Press the crumble down a little bit to bind with the apples

Bake for 30 mins or until golden/crunchy crumble

Top with Cocobella Yoghurt, maple syrup, more coconut and fresh blueberries!
